Members of George Clinical management team were invited recently to an Investment Dialogue with the Prime Minister of the Netherlands at the Sydney Opera House. The intimate event included key business representatives, the Prime Minister, the Consul-General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and Australia’s Consul-General to the Netherlands.
A select group of companies were invited to the dialogue which are considering expanding their business footprint to the Netherlands. Following an address from the Prime Minister about the economic growth the Netherlands is currently experiencing, a representative from each company spoke for a few minutes about their Netherlands operation or business engagement. Jacqueline Thorn, Commercial Director and Head of Business Operations ANZ, presented details about George Clinical and covered the company’s recent formation of an entity in the Netherlands in order to expand our European presence and to become a hub for future EU growth.
“George Clinical created a new entity in the Netherlands in May 2019 in order to be able to fully operationalize clinical trials in Europe through its own entities and staff. George Clinical has two employees in the Netherlands and plans to grow this team over the next one to two years as it brings new work to Europe with the intention of the Netherlands being a European hub,” Thorn stated.
